Yay, Mia! Congrats to everyone else (I hope some others got it at least, let us know!!!) *shakes head sadly* You know, Erin, I think there's a lot more luck to this than you might think. I tried to get MaW for a friend of mine (she has dial up, but she had enough that she knew she could get it free if it was at least 60% off), so I logged in to her account and prepared to get it. I got the green download button for her, and I clicked it... and nothing happened. Nothing. I clicked a bunch of times, nothing happened. So I refreshed... and it was back to the pre-sales price. That sucked!  So, there's a LOT of luck involved. I'm sure the non-working green download button was a server problem, not at my end. I think there's a LOT of luck involved. Both you and Cogitotoro know exactly how to do these, and you didn't get it, which is a case in point. (rubs hands together) Now, let's just hope for Boardwalk, Prism, WoW, and several others to come back AGAIN, eh?  |

OK, I should have been in bed three hours ago but ... well, y'know how it is!  Bit more than I wanted to pay ... but I got WoW!!  Those coupla hundred bonus ad SPs I've collected today have come in very handy! Congrats to everyone else who snagged it, commiserations to those that didn't - of course it'll be back on DD again before long and will doubtless be even cheaper, don't give up hope!  Yay for you! Glad you got it! |

Congratulations to everyone who got the carousel! I didn't want it, but my sister did, so I passed along all the tips, and she got it successfully.
What good timing, Ashley! I still haven't had a chance to register, just popping in quick because I'm in the middle of a project. I did manage to load the site in time, and it was at 0%. If I recall, I refreshed once and it was in the 60 range, and then gone.

Nice to see the WoW coming up! Hope it's a good discount. Those 1-2-3 ads give me trouble too. Wish there was a way to collect from them! There is - update your Flash. I had the same problem, so today I updated Flash, and now those ads play. I think a new Flash must have come out in the past few days, and those ads use that specifically. (Which is dumb, because not everyone is going to have the latest Flash.) Thank you! Don't know why I didn't think of that. Getting all kinds of ads right before WoW and now after too. WoW went so fast! Decided not to get it even though I had it to where I could buy it. Congrats to all those who were able to get it! Sorry that those of you who did want it weren't able to. Hopefully next time you will. Good to see another compilation set coming up. Hope this is a sign of things to come. |

I already own WoW but I was refreshing to see the time it sold out. My page froze at 89%. Every other time I have tried for one of the hot items, my computer has never failed. However, I was on the Daily Deal page when I normally have been on the item page when I wanted to buy the deal.
Adrian - Congratulations. I hope you can sleep in "tomorrow".

Got WoW! And we ate dinner. It's a win/win night. Hope it comes around again within the next few deals for anyone still awake that missed it this time. Yah, I saw WoW was at the bottom of the list of deals (with the couch above it) when it was on the prior deal, when I was called to dinner. Watching the DD for a couple of hours or eating rack of lamb and sweet corn on the cob? Rack of lamb and corn on the cob wins. |

Had two comps going...me on the desktop, and hubby on the laptop....I was waiting for the page to refresh, and my husband is like...Got it! Then he says..."The sweater is 33 points...do you want it?" and I was still waiting for the page to reload.... Congrats to everyone else that got it, and sorry to those that did not. Seems my DD stalking has become a family thing....My older sons stalk while I sleep now. This made my day though....I had a rough one...had to run a million and one errors, then when I was about done, the radiator hose in my car sprung a leak...well, actually it popped...blew it in two....so this, plus Best of 2010, and MAW for free earlier today brightened my mood.... |

I seem to be able to refresh the page quickly, but that green download button/confirmation window both have been wreaking havoc on me lately. It might just come down to when there's a flood of activity on the servers, it's not entirely 'first in, best dressed' -- instead, it's just a flurry of activity and the EA servers start to scream and throw Venues out at people randomly.  But yes, I'll support your request for the Boardwalk, Prism, WoW, etc. Someone might shoot me for saying this, but I don't even mind terribly if the discounts aren't quite as good -- 30 to 50% would make me very happy and is far better than full price. Of course, if they want to put the Boardwalk up for 90% off and promise me a place at the front of the line, I wouldn't say no! |

And what do you want to bet that on the day of the Sims 4 release they'll have a store-wide sale? It might only be 30%, but hey - 30% is better than nothing! I think for Boardwalk and Amore I might take it, but I think I'll still hold out for the DD for Prism. |

Haha, I'll try to hold off, but the roller coasters and carousels are calling me! At least they're two Venues that go very well together, so I can keep working on my projects without them for a while -- they're not terribly useful for general lot building, although the tents/pavilions might come in handy. I should probably go in game and check out my new gondolas first! |
