With MMAO-I'm getting offered items from Jet Set Elder-which I own, even though few of the items don't show as owned....despite owning the set. And the greenhouse which I got with Best of 2012 deal. Will customer service fix this or am I stuck in a MMAO loop of items I own?

I recently had a similar issue with a PC item not showing as owned per the Store (it was part of a venue I own). I contacted customer service via live chat and the CS rep fixed it by adding the necessary SimPoints to my account so I could purchase the item again without any SP loss. After the purchase, the item correctly showed as owned.
If you do contact them, see if they will take care of all of the problem items at the same time. The wait to get connected to the right CS rep can be brutal.

I've heard a lot of people have issues with those items. Customer service can apparently fix it like MarLin114 said, by adding the necessary SP to your account. I hear it can be an ordeal getting through to the right person, though. Good luck.

Yeah, waiting for CS is a pain that won't go away until the chat/call has ended (if they fix the issue).
In my case, when I was fist connected on live chat, I had a CS that was more like a contact 'filter' person. He opened the chat session, found out what the problem was and figure out where to route me.
When they ask for what platform you're contacting them about, tell them The Sims 3 Store. That was the longest wait, getting connected to the store CS dept. I was going numb with boredom and wanted to leave the room but I wasn't about to give up and start the whole thing all over again.

When I had this problem I gave the CS person the dates I purchased the items (from purchase history) and they marked them as owned. I wonder why they don't make that standard procedure? I guess it makes too much sense, can't have that!

I guess it makes too much sense, can't have that! Maybe it's new, that they're able to do that. Or maybe you got someone who had higher permissions than most reps have. Or maybe the rep was just more knowledgeable about what to do. Anything is possible. I'm glad they were able to help you!
