Whoa. Wait. How does that even?! It's our old friend the "over valued venue". Regardless of the Store price of a Venue set they are always valued at considerably more when CYS is calculated. Check out the advise on the first page of the 'official' DD thread.  I just read that and got the gothic set just like it said... wow! Are there many like that? |

One of my first store purchases was the greenhouse (and i use it all the time, I love gardening in game) and iirc the price of the 2012 went down to under 2k with CYS, but it wasn't free. OK checking my purchase history: i did get the green house first then i got the magic stuff (was on the sale page at that time) and then the best of 2012 was free for me The Greenhouse was one of my first big purchases on the DD - in the rotation that is often seen as the beginning of this very community - and it was around the same time, or shortly after, that CYS came in and I was able to go on a crazy trawl of free and dirt cheap set and compilation cascades. It is quite possible that I am mistaken, I did pick up quite a few other sets at the same time, or it's possible that the Store team have been adjusting prices - the controversy over the Regency Arcade gives some support to that possibility. Either way, keep checking those compilations whenever you buy any of the old sets, in fact even individual items from the old days can do amazing things for your CYS rewards!  |

Whoa thanks for that tip! I had the greenhouse and the magic set from when they were on the DD earlier this week so I got it for free . I'm excited - I've had my eye on that Teppanyaki Grill for awhile now. |

Oh goodness, the WoW set. I wasn't TOO interested in it when it debuted, but if the bed and sofa sell out before their timers and I'm actually around when it goes on deal, and it's lower than the number of points I have (with ads, I'm now up to 1040!), I may cave. (Though I'm still holding out hope for the bakery and mill to resurface.)

World of Wonder! We may not eat dinner tonight unless my partner finishes it while I'm plastered to my computer screen. Then he'll have to serve me where I sit. I've been waiting for this forever. Good luck to everyone going for it : )

Those going for World of Wonder, remember the Speed Selling Venue Protocol!
1. Always buy from the item page, not from the DD page.
2. If the item before looks like it'll expire, figure out about how long it takes your computer to refresh, and refresh the item page about that long before the previous item expires. If the previous item looks like it's going to sell out, start refreshing the item page when it's at about, hm? 95%? Depends what rate it's selling at.
3. Try not to have too much open; that may slow down the page loading.
Did I remember everything? =D I feel like I missed something, lol.
