Had two comps going...me on the desktop, and hubby on the laptop....I was waiting for the page to refresh, and my husband is like...Got it! Then he says..."The sweater is 33 points...do you want it?" and I was still waiting for the page to reload.... Congrats to everyone else that got it, and sorry to those that did not. Seems my DD stalking has become a family thing....My older sons stalk while I sleep now. This made my day though....I had a rough one...had to run a million and one errors, then when I was about done, the radiator hose in my car sprung a leak...well, actually it popped...blew it in two....so this, plus Best of 2010, and MAW for free earlier today brightened my mood.... It's always good to have a little boost when you've had a bad day. I think we all know what those are like! And that stupid sweater! That's probably going to last the whole time. I bought it on a previous rotation, but... it does look like what Mr. Rogers would wear!

No, no. Don't give up. We are DD stalkers until we own the store, or until they announce they are closing the store. (Hopefully, we get more than a few days notice.) I agree! And what do you want to bet that on the day of the Sims 4 release they'll have a store-wide sale? It might only be 30%, but hey - 30% is better than nothing! I think for Boardwalk and Amore I might take it, but I think I'll still hold out for the DD for Prism. I think so as well. And I hope so! SO MANY THINGS I COULD FINISH lol.

Good to see WoW on the list. Technically I was telling myself I wouldn't try to buy it unless it was 697 points or under, but it was so close I tried anyhow (and missed it). Maybe it's for the best though . I'm a bit more excited about Prism Art Studio. Hope that comes up again soon!

It might detract too much from the release of Sims 4, so maybe not -- but it'd be a good time to offload some virtual stock! *rolls eyes* Isn't there an American public holiday in September (I want to say Labor Day, but I'm not sure)? That might be a good time for them to try the Store-wide sale again. I imagine Halloween might be a good time for a big sale, too. I hate to think what Black Friday/Cyber Monday will be like this year! *wide-eyed/shocked smiley that I don't know the BBCode for*

Well, I think I'm gonna head to bed. (although I'll kick myself if it shows up while I'm asleep but I doubt it.) Hopefully I'll have better luck in the morning. jD001

Haha, I'll try to hold off, but the roller coasters and carousels are calling me! At least they're two Venues that go very well together, so I can keep working on my projects without them for a while -- they're not terribly useful for general lot building, although the tents/pavilions might come in handy. I should probably go in game and check out my new gondolas first! You know why I want Boardwalk? All those wonderful builds I've seen with it on the Exchange! David has an absolutely beautiful one. He thinks it's too colorful, but that's why I like it!

I got the venue that goes with Dragon Valley from the 300 simpoints box and Grampa's Grove from the 900 Simpoints box. jD001

Actually, speaking of closing the store, do you guys think that's eventually going to happen? Anyone know how long it took them to shut down TS2 store after TS3 came out?

David's is pretty special, although I do remember wondering how he managed to get a rainbow to throw up all over his roller coaster (in a nice way )! I really want to add that one to Midnight Hollow, just for kicks.

I am so stoked! I got WoW! I had my hubby help using my iPad and me on the computer. I managed to snag it on the computer. It was number one on my wishlist. That was quite the adrenaline rush. As excited as I am that I got it, I know there are people just as disappointed they didn't. Hang in there, EA does seem to be repeating the big venues, however sporadically. Sincerely hope everyone who wants it, gets it the next time, and at a better discount than me!

As always, you're probably right, Mia. Of course I'm right, I'm always right. I thought I was in error once, but I was wrong. ;-) Ha ha! I'm wrong more often than I can say, and I'm always chagrined and embarrassed when I am. (They don't have an "oops" smiley on this site. Is there any way to add more smileys?)

I'm not too picky about WHEN in September, I just want to see a storewide sale! Lots I could get free at even 30% off.

Actually, speaking of closing the store, do you guys think that's eventually going to happen? Anyone know how long it took them to shut down TS2 store after TS3 came out? I believe the TS2 Store closed in 2011, two years after TS3 came out. However, the Sims 3 Store is HUGE compared to the one we had for Sims 2, so I'm not sure it's an appropriate comparison. I can't imagine they could close it down any earlier than 2016/2017, but I would suggest that it'll be gone by the time TS4's run is ending (presumably 2018/2019); they certainly can't keep the Store up forever. Eventually, it'll be costing them more to keep up than they'll be making from it.

It's a good point that we should be glad WoW showed up on the DD list - since that often signals that it will show up again before too long. Now if only they would put Worlds on the list... *sighs dreamily*
This forum is way easier to use than the official one, isn't it? Except for emojis. Super quick, and you don't have to scroll to move to other pages... Maybe we should stay here after they put the site ones back up. Unless maybe the changes are to make those forums more like these, lol.
Oh, and I just have to say, we all look SO WEIRD, except Jodi.

Actually, speaking of closing the store, do you guys think that's eventually going to happen? Anyone know how long it took them to shut down TS2 store after TS3 came out? They could close it if it's no longer making money, but that could be years from now. You can't really compare TS2 store to the TS3. TS2 didn't have monthly releases like we saw with the current store. Also TS2 store only had 7 original sets and everything else was individual items from expansion packs. Really it was just a glorified beta for TS3 store.
