I like that it doesn't display how many times you edited your post! No embarrassment from editing my post more than 5 times!  That too! Especially if you're editing it to fix a stupid typo or grammatical error. Why should it matter how many times we've edited it?  The only reason I wouldn't suggest using this forum exclusively is that we won't get newcomers to the DD thread who need tips and what-not. That's really a good reason to keep a thread on the main Sims 3 forums, so the new ones don't get too taken in by the Store's prices. |

Yeah, Labor Day. Wonder if there'll be a sale then? I'm not too picky about WHEN in September, I just want to see a storewide sale! Lots I could get free at even 30% off. There's no guarantees, but American public and cultural holidays seem to attract SOME kind of sale, usually. Often, it'll just be a better discounted Sale page, but I imagine that we're in new territory now -- it certainly seems likely that we'll be seeing a Store-wide sale soon (after all, why bother for just April Fool's Day and Easter?). Labor Day is September 1st. Sims 4 is released September 2nd. It will be interesting to see if they try to have a big sale then. My instinct says "no" because they will want all of their tech people available if anything goes wrong with the Sims 4 release. My guess is that if they are going to have a big sale they will either have one very soon that ends before the release day or wait until a few weeks after the release. My dream is that tomorrow morning everything in the store will magically be 90% off. Not holding my breath, though.  |

And when you do edit, you can explain your edit in the little "explain your edit" optional box, and I'm guessing then it won't keep showing up in everybody's posts when they quote you. Awesome. Okay, I'm putting in a picture of a Sim I'm currently working on in CAS, just to test out inserting images.  It's supposed to be Matt Damon, but I cannot get him to look right.  |

And that stupid sweater! That's probably going to last the whole time. I bought it on a previous rotation, but... it does look like what Mr. Rogers would wear! You know, I think a lot of things are really affected by what color they put them up in. The thing that's not Mr. Rogers about this sweater is the untucked shirt. I can imagine it actually looking quite cool in like a heather grey or black with a patterned tie. It's just the orange that's so super retro and yuck looking on that sweater. Similarly, I never want to buy that Back2Skool stuff, but I think it might largely be because I think the colors they put on it are horribly hideous. |

It's strange they would put up new weekly specials a day after they already updated. Plus the current sales are set to end on a Tuesday(the 12th). I'm most likely just grasping at straws here though and it's just the store teams incompetence. |

Is anyone else having issues with the Daily Deals? The items I already have last the entire 2-3 hours; but the ones I don't have disappear in less than a minute, and it won't let me claim them. It happens every time.

Heck, some people couldn't seem to grasp that just the forums were under maintenance and were expecting the ads to go away.  |
